Product Overview
Pink buttercream under a chocolate ganache drip, scattered with heart sprinkles and finished with hand cut fondant hearts around the crown. Inside are vanilla or chocolate layers with buttercream and ganache between them, so the richness carries all the way through rather than sitting on top. This is our most decadent Valentine's cake, and the one that disappears fastest.
What's Included
- This Season's Love at First Bite Design: Pink buttercream with a poured chocolate ganache drip, heart sprinkles across the crown and hand cut fondant hearts set around the top. The Valentine's look is designed by our bakery team for the season.
- Choose Your Cake Flavor: Vanilla or chocolate layers, filled with buttercream and ganache. Red velvet is available too, and we are happy to talk it through when you call.
- Seasonal Variation: The heart shapes, the sprinkle mix and the shade of the pink buttercream may change from one February to the next with supplier availability and with the refinements our bakers make to the design.
- About the Photograph: Coffee tables, mugs, throws and other props shown in the photographs are styling only and are not part of the order.
- Handcrafted Note: Because the ganache is poured and the hearts are placed by hand to order, the drip and the arrangement will differ from the photographs shown on every cake we make.
Size and Serving Guide
This is our 8 inch round cake and it comfortably serves 10 to 15 as a dessert style slice. Planning for a larger group? Call us and we will help you size it.

Messenger Delivery in the Greater Boston Area
Our cupcakes and cakes are baked to order! Please allow 1-3 days for us to custom bake your gift.
We offer messenger deliveries to Greater Boston addresses, Monday through Friday. If your city or town is not listed, please call us for a quote. Rates are:

Shipping and Delivery
We ship via UPS throughout the United States. For International Shipments or if your gift requires shipping to a Post Office Box, please call us at 617.739.0900 for pricing. There is a $25 Handling Fee for International and Post Office Box orders. Packages going to Alaska and Hawaii can only be shipped via UPS Next-Day or 2nd-Day.
Generally speaking, orders are shipped the next business day. Embroidered or personalized gifts will ship within 3-5 business days.
In the Greater Boston Area, we also offer delivery via Messenger. When using Messenger Delivery please be sure someone is available to receive the package. Please call us for pricing if you would like Messenger Delivery outside the Greater Boston Area.
Typically orders are shipped and delivered Monday - Friday. For orders that require UPS Saturday Delivery, please call for pricing.
Shipping Perishable and Highly Perishable Products
Gifts that are marked Perishable must reach their destination in no more than 2 days to ensure freshness. If the shipping address is located in the 1 or 2 day shipping range (in the map above) then UPS Ground can be used. Otherwise, please select UPS 2nd Day or UPS Overnight shipping for your order.
Generally speaking, we do not ship perishable products on Thursdays and Fridays if they will be in transit over the weekend.
Perishable gifts cannot be shipped to International addresses, Post Office Boxes or addresses outside the continental United States (Alaska or Hawaii).
Shipping to California
Because of California law, we cannot ship fruit to California.
Substitution Policy
We reserve the right to substitute a product at an equal or greater value in any of our baskets.
